Story Medium Done Done Cheng Li Kuralamudhan Ramakrishnan Wed, 31 Jul 2019 06:22:49 +0000 Wed, 28 Aug 2019 02:07:10 +0000 Wed, 28 Aug 2019 02:07:10 +0000 0 2 <p>Tested on virtualbox and baremetal:</p> <ol> <li>create a VM of ubuntu 18.04</li> <li>build the ISO by following the step described in the readme file.</li> <li>Install the ISO on baremetal/VM</li> </ol> <p>Result: The OS is installed no-attend as expect, icn folder is copied to the target host under /opt</p> <p>I am able to test the patch on 3 baremetals.</p> <p>On the first baremetal, during ISO installation, two questions are not able to be answered by preseed file: the language and the disk.</p> <p>On the second and third baremetal, only one question is not able to be answered by preseed: the disk.</p> <p> </p> <p>So I think there could some problems with the first baremetal. I am trying to fix the disk issue first.</p> <p>Tested in VM for now. Please test in Baremetal</p> <p>Build package For example git clone should in Bootstrap cluster ubuntu user. /home/ubuntu/build/ .</p> <p>This folder as /home/ubuntu/build/bootstrap and  /home/ubuntu/build/compute. </p> <p><a href="https://jira.akraino.org/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=hle2" class="user-hover" rel="hle2">hle2</a> will have sriov and QAT build in  /home/ubuntu/build/compute and then move the binaries to the compute server.</p> <p>Deb package should be in ubuntu user,  /home/ubuntu/apt/deb .
