Hi Deepak, Indeed, the blueprint owner can and should consume the validation tests, but the tests need to be in the validation repo. A patch has been submitted for creating the container, we're waiting for Naga's review: https://gerrit.akraino.org/r/c/validation/+/1725 |

Hi Cristina, These tests are generic and needed in the Validation Project. This does not preclude the blueprint owners from consuming validation project tests in their CD. Please help us create a layer for logging and monitoring. Thanks Cristina. |

dd7022 ns156u TapioTallgren jukosone Hi, I am confused on why we want to create another layer in validation when the tests are in the TA repo (https://gerrit.akraino.org/r/c/ta/cloudtaf/+/1559). If the tests are generic, then they should be in validation. If they are blueprint specific, then they need to be in the blueprint project (including the container). Please advise, Cristina

At the community call 10/2/19, it was agreed that Logging and Monitoring will be a separate layer. This layer will contain tests for logging and monitoring artefacts and other telemetry supported by blueprints. First set of tests include testing log generation, log transport an log push from K8s PODs to ElasticSearchDB using fluentd. Naga has listed these tests in: https://jira.akraino.org/browse/REC-48
