 Description   

Prerequisite:

Development environment whose setup is similar to that of setup we are proposing like no internet connectivity at Edge sites. ** 

Apt-repo ssh setup

Resources: Baremetal server with Ubuntu Bionic with nested virtualization enabled

Components Version: Ubuntu 18.04 Ubuntu Bionic

Task Description: Previously, some of the packages in bpa.sh have inter-dependencies that need to be worked through manually. Also removing the tars and replacing it with packages that are more closely aligned to 18.04 distro. ** 

Major components dependency resolution include:

  • Go, 
  • Ansible, 
  • Pip, 
  • Python packages,
  • Docker
  • Kubespray
  • K8s-components
  • Adds Ons
  • KUD roles

Testing:

Have a client-server setup where the Client has accessibility to the internet.  apt-download the packages into a specific folder in the server, scan and install on the client

Expected Deliverables:

The end goal is to have to working offline KUD setup.
