Submit initial patch: https://gerrit.akraino.org/r/c/icn/+/2295 to prepare and install /deploy PMEM-CSI. There are 2 modes in pmem-csi, LVM device mode and Direct device mode, the default is LVM mode since can avoid space fragmentation. And also support several volume types: Persistent volume, Ephemeral volume and Cache volume (need 2 or more nodes to backup). |

Currently the status is blocked by the lack of Optane PM hardware. |
