Epic Link: Metal3 Baremetal Operator in ICN Stack
Sprint: ICN Sprint 5
Story Points: 4

 Description

1. Add new label for VMs in Provisioning Instances

For VM Provisioning, there needs to be a label to separate the VMs from baremetal; in the Provisioning CR, a new key-value pair such as "runtime: VirtletVM" will be added.

2. Filter available VMs based on 'cpu' and 'memory' that are VMs

3. Get their IP addresses

The above has changed to the following:

  • To check cluster label for "vm-cluster" in the provisioning CR
  • Filter available VMs by the mac address specified in the provisioning CR
  • For this, Virtlet VM is created with specified mac address
  • Get the pod IP address of the virtlet VM
