5G net slicing
Description
Automated deployment of 5g net slices based on user defined SLOs to multiple clusters controlled by EMCO.
The mission of the project is to ensure end-to-end SLOs for workloads of each tenant independent of other tenants hosted on systems built on top of a shared set of resources including 5G network, and cloud native infrastructure.
- Management and configuration
o Dynamic slice orchestrator, EMCO and K8s extensions to create tenant and enforce tenant/slicing policies
o Cloud native registration and discovery management
o Edge Orchestration tenant isolation simplification (Ease of use) - Service mesh enhancements for multi-tenancy
o ISTIO/Envoy sharing across tenants, fixing the gaps such as slice/tenant specific CA, Securing CA certificate private keys, slice specific metrics, logs & traces - RDT Controller & associated enforcement enhancements
o Slice/tenant specific RDT enforcement - Network isolation enhancements
o With and Without CVL
o Tenant/Slice specific queues, interrupts, and cores for RX/TX processing. - Security isolation
o Secured service mesh leveraging SGX/TDX
